Adriana Edmeades works as a Legal Officer at Privacy International, developing litigation strategies for bringing to account companies that sell surveillance technologies to repressive states. Prior to joining PI, she was a lawyer at Public Interest Lawyers (PIL), where she worked on a range of public law and human rights litigation, including a number of cases before the UK Supreme Court and the European Court of Human Rights. Adriana has a BA and LLB with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney and a Masters in Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies from the Australian National University with High Distinction.
