Agnieszka Weinar is currently an adjunct research professor at the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies at Carleton University. Previously she worked at the European University Institute in Florence as a scientific coordinator and research fellow, and at the European Commission as a policy officer. Her research interests include skilled migration, labour market integration of highly skilled migrants, policies on recognition of qualifications and skills, trade and mobility. She has extensive experience in research-policy communication and engaging with policymakers on a national and international level. She has conducted numerous policy evaluations and impact assessments. She has served as an expert for the European Commission, World Bank, and International Organisation for Migration.
