Louise Amoore is Professor at Durham University, where she researches and teaches in the areas of global geopolitics and security. She has particular interests in how contemporary forms of data, analytics and risk management are changing the techniques of border control and security. Recent publications include The Politics of Possibility (2013) and Algorithmic Life (2015). Her book Cloud Ethics is forthcoming.
