Yusuf Bangura, originally from Sierra Leone, is Research Coordinator at the UN Research Institute for Social Development in Geneva. His research interests are in the field of redistributive politics, state reform, ethnic inequalities and democratization. He is the lead author of the Institute's flagship report Combating Poverty and Inequality: Structural Change, Social Policy and Politics.
