Pandemic Borders was created in April, 2020, to provide an immediate examination of the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic raised for vulnerable residents and workers at and within national borders, and also to shine a spotlight on the resilience and solidarity emerging across those frontiers.

Now, as the world begins to look toward a post-pandemic scenario, we turn our attention to the future of migration, and ask: What will international migration look like after the pandemic? What has the pandemic revealed about the structural challenges that have been present across all regions of the world long before the pandemic?  What are the new priorities for migration and asylum governance? And what lessons have we learned?
